Reservation fee
Delivery
Your reservation fee of $750 secures this reservation and applies in full toward your kitten’s price. Because it funds priority placement, early-care planning, and the veterinary and registration work we complete before homecoming, the fee is non-refundable — with one exception: if we are unable to approve your application, your fee is refunded in full.
Purchase price and balance
You may collect your kitten in person at a designated location in Illinois, or have them delivered by a nanny who stays with them the entire way — by car for regional destinations, or in-cabin by air for longer distances. For any delivery option, we arrange the travel and remain responsible for your kitten until they are placed into your care at your destination. Delivery is priced by destination and quoted to you in writing before any travel is booked; it is collected with your balance and becomes non-refundable once travel is booked. Air delivery requires a veterinary health certificate, which we obtain.
Your kitten’s total price is $__________, reflecting any price confirmed under Section 4. After your reservation fee, the remaining balance of $__________ is due in full before your kitten comes home and before we book any travel on your behalf — ordinarily by a date we provide approximately four weeks before homecoming, following the health check. If you reserve at or after that point, your balance is due within three (3) days of your reservation. Your kitten comes home once the balance and any delivery fee are paid in full.
If the balance is not paid. If your balance is not paid by the due date, we will contact you. If it remains unpaid seven (7) days after that notice, the reservation is forfeited, your reservation fee is retained, and we may place your kitten with another family.
Health guarantee
Your kitten is covered by our written Health Guarantee, which is provided with this Agreement and incorporated into it by reference. It includes a short post-homecoming veterinary-examination window and a three-year guarantee against hereditary conditions, with a replacement kitten as the remedy. Please read it in full.
Lifetime Return
When the fee moves with you
If your circumstances ever change and you can no longer keep your cat — at any point in their life — they return to us. No questions, no judgment. You agree never to surrender your cat to a shelter, rescue, or third party, and never to resell or rehome them independently. A return under this policy is not a sale or a refund: no part of the price is returned, and ownership transfers back to us. This commitment is built into every placement.
Your fee is never lost to a cattery-side outcome. If we are unable to complete your reservation — your application is not approved, no suitable kitten is available, or a confirmed price change is declined under Section 4 — your fee moves in full to another available kitten or an upcoming litter, or is refunded in full, at your choice. The fee does not transfer or refund on a change of mind.
Your care commitments
Color and price confirmation
You agree to keep your cat indoors, to never declaw, to keep vaccinations current on your veterinarian’s schedule, to feed an appropriate high-quality diet, and to provide routine veterinary care. These commitments also keep your Health Guarantee in force.
If a kitten reserved before their mature color is settled is later confirmed to be a color that carries a different price, we will tell you in writing. You may accept the adjusted price, or treat it as a cattery-side non-fulfillment under Section 3 and move or refund your fee in full.
Pet and breeding placement
Once your kitten is in your care, we are not responsible for allergies, temperament, or any injury, damage, or loss involving your cat. A kitten’s personality and adult size develop over time and cannot be guaranteed.
A pet placement is sold on limited registration, carries no breeding rights, and comes home altered (Section 9). A breeding placement comes home intact, is sold on full registration, is priced separately, and is governed by a separate Breeding Addendum completed and signed before homecoming; nothing in this Agreement grants breeding rights on its own.
Sole remedy and limit of liability
Accurate information
A replacement kitten, as provided in the Health Guarantee, is your sole and exclusive remedy for any covered condition. We are not responsible for veterinary or other costs you incur, or for any incidental, consequential, or emotional-distress damages. Our total liability under this Agreement and the Health Guarantee will never exceed the purchase price paid for your kitten.
You confirm that the information in your application is true and complete. If you provided materially false information, we may void this Agreement; in that case your reservation fee is forfeited and any breeding rights are revoked.
The nature of living animals
What comes home with your kitten
Litters are living beings and cannot be guaranteed in size, color, sex, or arrival. If an expected litter does not arrive as hoped, or your reserved kitten cannot be placed, Section 3 governs and your fee moves or refunds in full. Neither party is liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
A five-generation TICA-registered pedigree tracing championship European bloodlines; a complete records packet (vaccination, deworming, microchip, and health-check records); documentation that both parents test negative for FeLV and FIV; an airline-compliant carrier acclimated to our home’s scent; a comfort item carrying familiar scents from the queen and littermates; and a growing-up photo set. Your kitten is raised underfoot and socialized with children and dogs. TICA registration is standard; CFA registration is available on request.
Governing law, venue, and fees
Spay/neuter
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Health Guarantee, or your kitten will be brought exclusively in the Illinois state courts sitting in the county where the Cattery maintains its principal place of business — or, for any matter within federal jurisdiction, the United States District Court whose district includes that county — and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. In any such dispute, the prevailing party is entitled to recover its reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.
Pet kittens are altered before homecoming; you receive an already-altered kitten and carry no later surgical obligation. Breeding kittens come home intact under the Breeding Addendum.
General terms
This Agreement, together with the Health Guarantee and any Breeding Addendum, is the entire agreement between us and supersedes prior discussions. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.
